As mentioned in the History of Michigan Pilgrimage, a sister community was formed in 2009. Great Lakes Pilgrimage (formerly known as Michigan Presbyterian Pilgrimage - Detroit) holds Pilgrimage weekends in the spring and fall on the east side of the state.
